For decades he guided, with passion and a legendary team in place, Through the mysteries of space, to the farthest solar influence trace, Retiring in 2022, his legacy secure, Leaving Voyager's legacy for others to endure.  Linda Spilker, a planetary scientist with knowledge profound, Stepped into the role, her expertise unbound, From planet flybys to Saturn's grand display, Her dedication and wisdom still lights the way.  

Now Voyagers final chapters unfold, with a new captain's sight, In the endless quest for knowledge, day and night, With the Voyager's still beating hearts and Spilker's skill so vast, We explore the cosmos, together, steadfast. With lenses and sensors, they captured the skies, moons, and planets, as they did arise.

In Sagan's solar system portrait, a pale blue dot scarcely filling a pixel in size, gleamed with every soul, every life, in that image it seemed.  Now, beyond the Sun's grasp, they sail afar, initially guided by Pioneers, those from our home star. In the cosmic abyss, they venture with grace, still sending whispers to us far across space.  Long after their instruments cease to play, in the silence they'll have their say. A golden record with pictures, music, voices, and sound, from Earth's life orchestra, it's renowned.  And there on that golden disc, diagrams trace, locations of pulsars, their forms in place, with a map to our sun, a beacon so clear, so someone, something, will know we were here.  In the depths of the cosmos, our message will roam, a testament to humanity, a wanderer's poem.
